Job Title: Data Analyst Lead (Team Handling Role) Organization: Leading Bank Department: Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) Location: Mumbai Experience: 8–9 Years CTC: Up to 20 LPA Venue: Mumbai Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst Lead to join our Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) . The role involves leading a team of data analysts, managing end-to-end data analysis projects, and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making across banking functions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient workflows. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes. Perform advanced data analysis using Python, SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Sqoop . Manage large datasets from multiple sources to generate actionable business insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Business, Risk, Finance) to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Present insights and dashboards to senior management using visualization tools. Drive process improvements through automation and data innovation initiatives. Technical Skills Required: Strong programming experience in Python (data manipulation, analysis, visualization). Proficiency in Hadoop ecosystem tools – Spark, Hive, Sqoop, HDFS. Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts . Excellent command of SQL and database management systems. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Exposure to Big Data and Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field. Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services domain preferred. Proven experience in team handling and stakeholder management .
