Position: Accountant - Noida Office

The Law Offices Of Keshab Raj Seadie, P.C., a leading U.S. immigration law firm based in New York City, is opening its affiliate office in India (Noida) and seeks to recruit an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of QuickBooks and law firm accounting practices. Upon successful completion of 2 to 3 years of service, there is a possibility of U.S. visa sponsorship or U.S. permanent residency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Billing & Invoicing:

  2. Prepare and issue invoices and retainer agreements to clients in compliance with firm policies.

  3. Maintain accurate billing records and monitor timely client payments.

  4. Conduct proactive client follow-ups for overdue invoices and maintain weekly collections reports.

  5. Accounts Receivable & Payable:

  6. Track and reconcile accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) in QuickBooks.

  7. Manage vendor payments, reimbursements, and office expenses.

  8. Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

  9. Rent Collection & Tenant Relations:

  10. Collect office rental income and maintain rent ledgers.

  11. Liaise with tenants regarding payment reminders and resolve maintenance or expense-related issues.

  12. Financial Reporting:

  13. Prepare weekly, monthly & quarterly financial reports for management review.

  14. Support budget planning, expense forecasting, and cash-flow monitoring.

  15. Assist in preparing year-end financial statements and reports for U.S. office consolidation.

  16. Workflow & Deadline Management:

  17. Assist the law office team in monitoring client deadlines and ensuring financial compliance in case intake and filings.

  18. Coordinate with the U.S. office to align accounting tasks with legal workflow management.

  19. Maintain organized digital and physical records of accounting and client-related documents.

  20. Compliance & Process Improvement:

  21. Ensure financial practices comply with U.S. and Indian accounting standards.

  22. Support implementation of internal controls and process improvements.
  23. Assist with audits, reconciliations, and reporting obligations as required.
