A Position Overview Position Title Senior Executive/Assistant Manager– Risk Control Unit Department Risk Control Unit Level / Band Senior Executive/Assistant Manager Role Summary: ·Run queries on TALIC data for ad-hoc reporting ·Create & maintain validation rules in SQL server using SSIS package ·Automate manual reporting via innovative solutions using SQL, Python or R Platform ·Conversant in data modeling techniques ·Do Slice & dice on monthly new business to identify & highlight new risk across channels ·Assist in adding & implementing new risk dimensions Liaise with IT for new initiatives to mitigate risk Assists in identifying risk & create opportunities across departments in operations B Organizational Relationships Reports to Direct Senior Manager (RCU) Supervises C Job Dimensions Geographic Area Covered PAN -India Stakeholders Internal Claims, UW, NB, FIU, IT & other operations department External D Key Result Areas Analytics on new business data & other data sets ·The resource should be able to query data from SQL server, assess & analyze data to provide insights that help the organization in managing risk & identify new opportunities Innovate & automate reports for process control & risk identification ·The resource should be able to provide innovative solutions to automate daily reports, build tools for ad-hoc reporting Maintain department Database ·The resource should be able to assist in managing department database used for daily, weekly & monthly reporting Dashboards & PPT ·Resource should be able to create dashboards using data visualization tools & make ppt which helps in clear identification of Risk & mitigation of the same E Skills Required Technical ·Comfortable with large data, ·Knowledge of excel, access, My SQL, Python & R ·Knowledge of operating data visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau/Qlik view etc ·Basic PPT Skills required ·Insurance background is non-mandatory ·Communication skill Behavioral (Refer Appendix for details) Level 1 (rarely / not required) Level 2 (required frequently) Level 3 (essential for position) Interpersonal skills Communication skills Creative thinking skills Supervising/Leadership skills Teamwork Skills Influencing skills Relationship Building skills Decision making skills Incumbent Characteristics Essential Qualification Graduate Experience At least 1-4 years relevant experience.
