Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Senior Deputy General Manager. The Senior Deputy General Manager will oversee construction projects, manage project timelines, and ensure all operations are compliant with safety and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with various teams, managing budgets, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. The manager will also be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, and maintaining high standards of execution.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction project management, project planning, and execution
  • Skills in team coordination, leadership, and client communication
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
  • Proficiency in safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus
  • Experience in the Chennai construction market is highly desirable
