Job : Engineering Manager

Job Description :

Overall Responsible for driving the System Verification Team, Test effectiveness and Improvements for the product in non-functional test areas and accountable for fault escapes.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of relevant Software Test experience in Telco grade products

- 3+ years of experience in directly leading teams building Telecommunication Software products

- 3+ years of Test experience in Non-functional(Performance, Robustness,etc) & serviceability areas with large-scale distributed systems

- Applied RD (AR) consists of target-oriented research either with the goal of solving a particular problem / answering a specific question or for multi-discipline design, development, and implementation of hardware, software, and systems including maintenance support

- Supplies techno-economic consulting to clients

- AR work is characterised by its detailed and complex nature in order to systematically combine existing knowledge and practices to further developing and incrementally improving products, operational processes, and customer-specific feature development

- Software (SWA) comprises the definition, specification, and allocation of requirements from different sources utilising knowledge of systems engineering processes (specification architecture)

- Contains processing of use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional description

- Covers specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of Software (eg device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process

- Covers establishment and maintenance of Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices into software development projects, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems

- Good working knowledge in Cloud, K8s core technologies with hands on python scripting.

- Prior experience in interfacing with customers in understanding their deployments and use cases in the areas of Serviceability.

- Good working knowledge in PCRF, VOLTE, DRA, SCP, BSF, SEPP in 4G/5G core technologies

- Good Hands-on knowledge on Diameter/HTTP2 signalling domain, JSON, RestAPI, SCTP, TCP with core products e.g. Load Balancers, DRA, SLF, HSS, UDM, AUSF

- Good hands-on experience in Linux, Kubernetes, VMWare, OpenStack and working with CSF Assets & Blueprints like BVNF/BCMT/BELK

- In depth and working experience with cloud-ready, cloud-native, micro services and containers architecture, Devops.

- Demonstrated expertise with scripting, tracing tools (Wireshark, tShark etc) and automation framework

- Working knowledge on the toolsets like Jira, Jenkins or Bamboo

- Able to bring in innovative practices for chaotic programmable performance tests like Chaos Monkey, Janitor Monkey etc

- Bachelor s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline. A Master s degree in a related field is an added plus
