Summary:


The client is looking for a SAP EDI Consultant:


As an SAP consultant, you will be the subject matter expert and solution architect in S/4 HANA sales, with in-depth knowledge of EDI setup. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, documenting requirements and providing solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • EDI transaction knowledge: Understanding common EDI transactions, like orders, invoices, and shipment notifications
  • IDOC configuration: Configuring IDOC structures and contents
  • Interface configuration: Configuring interfaces
  • ALE customization: Developing and customizing ALE
  • EDI mapping: Mapping ANSI/EDIFACT and VDA formats to IDOC or proxy structures
  • Siemens-specific knowledge: Understanding Siemens-specific characteristics, like SIDOC, steering tables, and CIP2SAP
  • ABAP programming: Adapting programs
  • Customer communication: Handling customer communication, requirement gathering, and query resolution
  • Business process definition: Defining business processes and trading partner setups
  • Map testing and deployment: Performing map testing and deployment
  • EDI integration and migration: Managing the SAP EDI integration and migration process
  • Industry-specific EDI issues: Handling industry-specific EDI issues within SAP
  • Error resolution: Proactively identifying and resolving errors


Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of all common EDI transactions include Orders, Order Acknowledgement /Change, and Invoices, Advance Shipment Notifications, etc.
  • Knowledge IDOC Structures, Contents.
  • Configuration of IDOC.
  • Configuration of Interfaces.
  • ALE customizing and development.
