EfficientWorks Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development, including theme and plugin development, and experience with WooCommerce for building and customizing e-commerce solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites and e-commerce solutions using WooCommerce.
  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Integrate WordPress with third-party APIs and services.
  • Optimize WordPress websites for performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues.
  • Collaborate with other developers, designers, and project managers.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress core concepts, including theme and plugin development.
  • Experience with WooCommerce for building and customizing e-commerce solutions.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with React and Gutenberg Block Native development.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development tools like npm, Vite, and Composer.
  • Experience with REST APIs and unit testing (TDD).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Nice to Have:


  • Experience with other e-commerce platforms like Shopify or Magento.
  • Experience with cloud hosting.
