Position Overview:  

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Political Research Analyst for a 2.5-month project in Maharashtra . The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in political analysis, research, and reporting, with a strong understanding of Maharashtra's political landscape. This role will focus on gathering, analyzing, and presenting key political data to inform strategic decision-making and support campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on political trends, key stakeholders, and electoral dynamics in Maharashtra.
  • Analyze political data, voter behavior, public sentiment, and policy trends to produce actionable insights.
  • Monitor media coverage, political developments, and electoral issues across Maharashtra.
  • Develop comprehensive reports, briefs, and presentations on political and policy issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide timely and accurate data analysis to support campaign strategies.
  • Track the performance of political parties, candidates, and voter engagement metrics.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights to guide decision-making.
  • Stay updated with Maharashtra's socio-political environment, policy changes, and government actions.


Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in political research, analysis, or related roles.

- Strong understanding of Maharashtra's political landscape, including key issues, constituencies, and influential political figures.

- Proficient in data collection, analysis tools, and research methodologies.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Marathi.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle complex projects.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

- Familiarity with media monitoring tools and political databases is a plus.


Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with political campaigns, think tanks, or media organizations.

- Knowledge of public opinion polling and electoral research.
