Odoo Developer

About the Role : We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Odoo Developer to join our team in Technopark, Trivandrum. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Odoo applications to meet our clients' specific business needs. You will work closely with our team to analyze requirements, develop custom modules, and ensure the smooth implementation and maintenance of Odoo solutions. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and customize Odoo applications (versions 12) to meet client requirements. - Create custom modules in Odoo to address specific domain needs. - Leverage existing Odoo features to fulfill project objectives. - Perform requirement analysis and translate them into technical specifications. - Structure databases and design efficient data models. - Debug and resolve issues in Odoo applications. - Participate in research and development activities to stay updated with the latest Odoo features and best practices. - Manage release processes and ensure smooth deployment of Odoo solutions. - Develop and maintain Python code for Odoo modules. - Apply strong programming concepts to create efficient and maintainable code. - Work with PostgreSQL databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries. - Understand and utilize Odoo's data models. - Collaborate with team members, including analysts, project managers, and other developers. - Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Delegate tasks and ensure timely completion. - Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and Odoo updates. Key Skills : - 2 years of experience in Odoo development. - Proficient in Odoo development (versions 12). - Strong Python programming skills. - Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and SQL. - Good Analytical and communication skills. - Experience with JSON and JavaScript. - Familiarity with Linux and Git. - Functional knowledge of sales, CRM, accounts, HR, and other business modules in Odoo. - Experience with ODOO versions : - B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, BSc CS, MSc CS in Computer Science or related field (ref:hirist.tech)
