Tech CivilMust have experience in greenfield project.Preferred experience in steel plant/iron making/rolling mill.ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and ManagementDevelop project plans, schedules, and budgets for all civil works.Resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment.Coordinating with various departments, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure a smooth workflow.Site SupervisionDirect and supervise all on-site civil construction activities. This includes monitoring the progress of work, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols, and resolving any technical issues that arise during constructionQuality ControlImplement and maintain a rigorous quality control system to ensure all civil works meet project specifications and industry standards. They perform regular inspections and audits to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.Safety ManagementEnforce strict safety regulations on the construction site. The civil manager is responsible for conducting safety briefings, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring that all workers comply with safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.Budget and Cost Control Manage the project budget for all civil works. This involves tracking expenses, preparing cost reports, and identifying potential cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or safety. They also review and approve invoices from subcontractors and suppliersContract Management Administer and manage contracts with various subcontractors and suppliers. This includes negotiating terms, monitoring performance, and ensuring that all contractual obligations are metDocumentation and ReportingMaintain comprehensive records of all project activities, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and quality and safety records.
