Qualification: CA with 7-8 year’s work experience in Direct Taxation preferably in IT/ ITES sector &/ Big4. FEMA expertise is an added advantage.


Job description as follows:

  • Lead & manage the entire gamut of India direct taxation matters including interface with consultants, internal/ external auditors.
  • Ensure timely direct tax compliance- Advance Tax Payments, Tax Return, Transfer Pricing report, review of Tax Audit Report clauses, CbCR and other direct Tax obligations.
  • Managing tax litigation matters, notices, appeals, assessments, liaising with tax authorities, advisors, counsels as needed
  • Lead advisory matters like-withholding tax on domestic/ cross border payments, review of tax related clauses, POEM, PE, etc.
  • Ensure timely direct tax compliances.
  • Manage monthly transfer pricing compliances and ensure adherence to Group TP Policy
  • Proactively anticipating Tax impacts for Business transactions including FEMA and advising other functions
  • Provide suggestions & implement changes to bring in tax efficiency.
  • Driving ERP change in line with law changes / other automation projects related to Tax.
  • Provide relevant inputs for structuring of transactions from time to time, leading due diligence projects etc.
  • Ensure continuous learning & development in tax-related matters amongst the tax team members.
