What we are looking for


An Excel wizard Do you know your VLookups from your Concatenate Formulas? Can you build Pivot Tables with your eyes closed?


If you are ALL about that detail, if spreadsheets float your boat - then you’re the person for us. Our data team needs a methodical, data-driven, eagle-eyed Excel master to join them as soon as possible. It’s an entry level position - so we’ll show you how to take your existing Excel skills and apply them to the world of eCommerce and digital retail. We don’t expect you to know this yet - our training will teach you the relevant systems and processes we use to be the best in the business when it comes to Catalogue Management. Just bring your Excel skills and a keen interest to learn.


As we work on specific systems and platforms, you should have a keen interest in the world of eCommerce and be willing to learn the ins-and-outs of new technologies and operating systems. A willingness to upskill and self-study (in addition to inhouse training) is essential.

Once trained and established in the role, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:


-         Reviewing data for accuracy and completeness

-         Managing issues and correcting errors

-         Updating categories and products across a variety of online stores

-         Managing sales and promotions

-         Monthly product updates

-         Manage the import sheet (handling all aspects of data)

-         Systems and integrations between CMS platforms and our PIM and Middleware

-         Saleslayer (PIM) Create categories, edit attributes, set up channel sync to Magento

-         Troubleshoot product data issues from Stock2Shop > Sale Slayer > Magento / Shopify

-         Daily Catalogue and Data management tasks for product uploads and Quality Controls

-         Assisting the HOD in structuring and categorising new products

-         Drive implementation of sales / promotions catalog prices and categorization (in advance and well planned ahead of time)

-         Troubleshoot onsite errors

-         Data enrichment on products

-         Making sure that products are aligned with clients requirements

-         Stock2Shop Queue Block Errors

-         Data imports/uploads

-         Giving updates and reporting back to the Head of the Data department

-         Responsible for own time tracking and compliance with the company's remote working policy



Candidate Requirements:

-         Excellent advanced excel skills

-         Google sheets skills

-         Advantageous (If worked within the eCommerce industry)

-         X-Mind, Magento, PIM, Miro, Stock2Shop

-         People management 

-         Task Management & deadline driven

-         Advance in Shopify Integrations with product data

-         Advance in Magento integrations with product data

-         Strongly analytical and meticulous to Masterdata Enrichment
