Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, programming, testing, evaluating, modifying, and enhancing complex applications using modern Java technologies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software programs using Java 17, J2EE, Struts 2.x, Spring 5.x, and Hibernate 5.x frameworks deployed on the Tomcat Web Container.
  • Develop JSP pages utilizing Struts 2.x tags along with XML, HTML, Bootstrap, and JavaScript to build responsive web interfaces.
  • Implement and manage Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) with Hibernate 5 for efficient database interactions.
  • Create comprehensive unit test cases and test suites using JUnit to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Develop client-side validation scripts in JavaScript and server-side validation using Action Forms to ensure robust data validation.
  • Utilize AJAX techniques with jQuery libraries to enable asynchronous web communication, enhancing user experience and performance.
  • Collaborate with QA teams and utilize automated testing tools such as Selenium to support test automation efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Java 17 and J2EE technologies.
  • Proficiency in Struts 2.x, Spring 5.x, and Hibernate 5.x frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies including JSP, HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), and JavaScript.
  • Experience in writing unit tests with JUnit.
  • Familiarity with AJAX and jQuery for creating dynamic web applications.
  • Knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex software projects.
