Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role at Brick2wall's Headquarters in Gurugram. The Financial Risk Analyst will play a hands on role in developing, implementing & analyzing credit risk models tailored to assess the creditworthiness of infrastructure companies, ensuring prudent lending practices and mitigating financial risks. The role will further involve day-to-day tasks of analyzing credit risk, managing portfolios, conducting risk analysis, and utilizing financial knowledge.


Responsibilities:

  •  Credit Risk Model Development: Lead the design and development of credit risk models specific to infrastructure companies. Utilize statistical techniques, and financial modelling methodologies to build robust models for assessing credit risk.
  •  Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze relevant data sources, including financial statements, market data, and industry benchmarks, to inform the development of credit risk models. Identify key variables and factors influencing creditworthiness in the infrastructure sector.
  •  Model Validation and Testing: Conduct rigorous validation and testing of credit risk models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and predictive power. Evaluate model performance against historical data and stress testing scenarios, making refinements as necessary.
  •  Credit Worthiness Assessment: Apply credit risk models to assess the creditworthiness of infrastructure companies seeking financing through Brick2wall.com. Evaluate financial health, liquidity, solvency, and repayment capacity based on model outputs and qualitative judgment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and enhance credit risk models based on feedback, performance metrics, and emerging trends. Stay abreast of advancements in credit risk modeling techniques and incorporate best practices into model development and validation processes



Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills, Credit Risk Management, and Risk Analysis
  • Finance and Portfolio Management skills
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk and financial analysis
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and data
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (such as CFA or FRM) are a plus
