Job Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to join our team with the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- HSE Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans for the Greenfield and industrial projects.
- Risk Assessment & Management: Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard identification, and work closely with the team to mitigate risks associated with industrial operations.
- Safety Audits and Inspections: Perform safety audits, inspections, and regular field checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal regulations.
- Incident Management: Investigate and report all accidents/incidents, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are taken.
- Training & Awareness: Deliver HSE training to employees, contractors, and visitors on various safety programs (e.g., Permit to Work (PTW), Confined Space Entry, Work at Height, etc.).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international HSE regulations and maintain compliance records.
- Environmental Control: Oversee environmental sustainability practices, including waste management, energy conservation, and pollution control.
- Coordination with Contractors: Manage contractor safety and ensure that all activities follow safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Safety).
- ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) from a recognized state board.
- Proven experience of 7 to 10 years in a Greenfield or Industrial Environment.
Desired Skills:
- Strong understanding of industrial safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Proficient in Safety Management Systems (SMS), HIRA, and JSA.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with Safety Auditing, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, and Incident Investigation.
