Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Lead with over 6 years of expertise in quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Cypress, Cucumber, and Karate (API testing), along with proven experience leading testing initiatives and ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle. As a QA Lead, you will play a key role in building robust test frameworks, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and driving quality best practices across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead QA efforts across projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality software products.Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Cucumber.Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing across web applications and APIs.Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage aligned with requirements.Implement and execute API and service layer testing using the Karate framework.Manage and maintain test cases in XRay (Jira plugin), ensuring traceability and adherence to test management best practices.Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions or similar tools.Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.Continuously improve testing strategies, frameworks, and processes in line with organizational goals.(Optional) Support testing and deployment processes in Azure Cloud Services environments.Required Skills & Qualifications6+ years of experience in QA/testing roles with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and Cucumber for test automation.Working knowledge or hands-on experience with Karate framework for API testing.Experience with XRay for test case and test execution management within Jira.Proficiency with GitHub (version control, branching strategies, pull requests) and experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.Kindly note: Immediate joiners would be preferable.Nice to HaveExperience with Azure Cloud Services for testing, deployment, and environment management.Exposure to performance and security testing practices.Mentorship or team leadership experience in scaling QA teams and processes.
