Job Description:

This position reports to theCL/HCA/MCA Supervisor for TIMP Risk and is a critical positionresponsible for working with a crossfunctional team of programmanagers engineers and GIS analysts in support of the TransmissionIntegrity Management Program (TIMP) annual Class Location (CL) HighConsequence Area (HCA) and Moderate Consequence Area (MCA) studies.The Class LocationHCA and MCA analysis requires a count of building structures meantfor human occupancy within specified distances from PG&Es gastransmission lines.This project is designed to generate remote sensing datathat will be used to analyze structure counts near PG&E GasTransmission pipelines by TIMPs CL/HCA/MCA Team.This individual will providedatabase development support by translating change detectionactivities utilizing advanced processing techniques in ArcGIS.The successfulcandidate must be an advocate for safety lead by example and helpPG&E attain its vision of being the leading utility byleveraging the skills and experience of a diverse team to focus onthe successful delivery of assigned programs.Qualifications

Minimum

3 years of workexperience in GIS project management process development or relatedfield.BachelorsDegree / equivalent or relevant experience with an emphasis in GISpreferred.1 year experience in ArcGIS 10.x or later.Desired

Utility or Pipelineindustry experience.Remote Sensing data (LiDAR and Ortho) classification.Integrity Managementand Risk Management experience.Strong interpersonal organizational and communicationskills.Experiencein developing implementing and documenting workflows and GIS bestpractices.Beingproficient with ESRI ArcGIS 10x with extensions Network Analyst 3DAnalyst and Spatial Analyst.Must work well in a close team environment.Responsibilities

Digitizecreate maintain display and update GIS databases.Perform ortho photointerpretationand change detection analysis using LiDAR derived buildingfootprints acquired and classified during the study period.Attribute structuretype and determine occupancy information.Perform QC checks for structure review toensure critical fields are present in database.Reconcile and post edits toproduction version and resolve conflicts.TekWissenGroup is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforcediversity.
