The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering effective mathematics lessons for middle school students, developing engaging curriculum and lesson plans, evaluating student academic progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. Additionally, the teacher will guide students in understanding fundamental and advanced mathematical concepts such as algebra and ensure alignment with school curricula.Qualifications- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Mathematics, especially Algebra - Minimum 5 years of experience teaching US students (through US schools or established US-based online platforms, not just a few private US students) - Solid understanding of the US Common Core Curriculum for Mathematics - Proven experience teaching Middle School students (Grades 6–8) - Familiarity with modern Mathematics education methodologies and best practices - Skills in curriculum development and instructional design for middle school math - Effective classroom management and communication skills to engage and inspire students - Ability to assess and adapt to diverse learning needs and learning styles - Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - Relevant teaching certification or licensure is highly desirable - Previous teaching experience in a formal middle school setting is a strong advantage
