Job Role: Business Analyst - Capital Markets / Wealth Management
Location: Mumbai - BKC

Experience: 5- 8 years (Capital Markets / Wealth Management domain)

Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Economics, Engineering, MBA, or related fields

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements (BRDs, FRDs, Gap Analysis, User Stories, Data Flows, Functional Specs).
  • Manage project workflows across Agile & Waterfall methodologies using tools like JIRA/Redmine (Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, UAT, Defect Triaging).
  • Define UAT test scenarios, track defects, and coordinate with Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Technology teams.
  • Provide domain expertise across Capital Markets and Wealth Management products Mutual Funds, Equities, IPOs, Fixed Income, Corporate Actions, Treasury Products, Alternative Investments, and full Trade Lifecycle Management.
  • Support regulatory compliance by understanding SEBI & Exchange regulations (RBI norms advantageous).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution, process improvements, and operational efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Indian Capital Markets & Wealth Management domain.
  • Hands-on experience in Requirements Gathering, Documentation, and Process Mapping.
  • Proficiency in project management & workflow tools: JIRA, Redmine.
  • Technical skills: SQL, PL/SQL, Excel, Power BI, Postman,
  • Strong analytical ability with effective communication & stakeholder management.
  • UAT preparation & execution, with a focus on delivering business-ready solutions.
  • Familiarity with SEBI, Exchange norms, and financial operations.
