DesignDrafting Engineer

AVDesign Responsibilities:
Engagedirectly with customers to provide 2D/3D drawings using varioustools including AutoCAD andREVIT.Reviewdocumentation and details provided by the customer to convert tomeaningful audiovisual flow diagrams and architectural drawingsset.Estimate laborrequired to perform drafting work based on the information providedby thecustomer.Build andmaintain a library of blocks and details using AutoCAD/REVIT forinternal AVDL use as well as specific customerrequirements.Keepup to date on various audiovisual products in the market andprovide feedback and input to team members on roadmap requirementsand productdirection.Communicatewith clients by email and phone and maintain turnaround times anddeadlines set by thecustomers.Collectcustomer feedback enhancements and feature requests and disseminatefindings to team leaders to continuously improve our productofferings.Participatesin team meetings for education and productstrategies.Attendstradeshows and marketing events asneeded.
Requirements:
Apleasing personality with a strong ambition to have fun whileworking is a must. If you can be productive while having fun wellthat will be an addedadvantage.Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred but notrequired1 years ofdrafting/design engineering or equivalent experience in a rapidlychanging needed dynamicenvironment.Provenability to communicate effectively via telephone and email withcustomers.Experiencein working with key buying personas like HR IT Sales and Marketingpreferred.Proficiencywith Autodesk products including but not limited to AutoCAD/REVITMicrosoft Office products and theInternet.
