Role & responsibilities

  • Ensure that the workplace is monitored and is fully in compliance with all applicable OSHA standards, rules, and regulations in order to maintain safety.
  • To design and implement safety plan.
  • Ensure medical examinations and regular trainings are provided as required by OSHA standards
  • To conduct investigations of accidents/ injuries and near misses.
  • Ensure the results of safety inspections are documented in Turn around time (TAT)
  • Identify hazardous situations that are associated with the accident.
  • Conduct safety awareness programs for employees and associates
  • Organize or conduct safety audits/ inspections and provide corrective measures.
  • Ensuring tools, tackles, and gadgets in good working conditions.
  • Ensuring Permit to Work system in place.
  • Plan and conduct occupational health surveys.
  • Familiarization with Hazard analysis, Job Safety analysis, and hazardous condition monitoring.
  • Implementation of the emergency management system.
  • Develop, Communicate, and implement safety procedures and work instructions to employees and associates.

Develop a culture of safety knowledge and motivation.

Preferred candidate profile

Thermal Power plant candidate will be preferred who has done RLI/CLI.

Candidate must have worked on British Safety council audit and certification.
