This is an onsite position, 5 days/week, in the Vadodara office working the NIGHT SHIFT (6:30pm-3:30am IST). Remote applicants will not be considered.
Summary of the FP&A Manager
We’re looking for a talented FP&A manager to join our high performing finance team. The FP&A Manager will assist with month-end close, preparing materials for the board of directors, and managing the company’s expense budget. In our fast-paced entrepreneurial culture, you can expect to have a big impact on the direction of Qualifacts by providing insights in regular VP and C-suite interactions to guide decision making. This role is for high performers who want broad exposure to the critical components of an FP&A organization.This role will report to the VP of FP&A. We are a growing, private equity backed healthcare IT company and the person hired for this position can expect to grow with us.
Responsibilities for the FP&A Manager
Month-end Close: Assist accounting with month end accruals; perform monthly variance to budget analysis for companywide budget and department budgets; help prepare board materials on company’s financial performanceForecast: Manage the forecast models including maintaining key cost and revenue drivers; manage quarterly reforecast and annual budgetKPI Reporting: Support business units with KPI reporting on key operational, sales, and financial metricsManage strategic initiatives and projects while ensuring deliverables are achieved in a timely mannerConduct complex financial analysis on projects as neededOther: Ad hoc analysis and assignments as dictated by the needs of the finance team and the business unitsQualifications of the FP&A Manager
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance/Economics with 5-7 years of experience in progressive Finance related roles, or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or MBA preferred with 3-4 years of related experience, with at least 2 years in an FP&A roleKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the FP&A Manager
Advanced Excel user; strong in PowerPointExperience working in Adaptive Planning is preferredAbility to build driver-based forecasts in ExcelExceptional attention to detail and highly organizedFinancial Storytelling for executive audiences presenting data in PowerPointAble to manage high priority projects on a tight timeline and drive others to deliver timelyQuick learner who is self-motivated, has a strong work ethic and is reliableAbility to work in US hours during peak timesPrevious people management experience is preferred but not requiredShift time for the FP&A Manager
