Job Description

Immediate joiners Only

Database Admin Oracle Skills Required: • 2-5 years of experience as Database Admin on Oracle, additional skills(optional): Postgres, MySQL, Microsoft SQL • Monitoring space usage of databases/Oracle ASM on all servers and adding additional space/disks when required • Exporting and importing schema objects from Prod databases to Non-Prod as required • Refreshing full Oracle databases from Prod database to Non-Prod as required (RMAN duplicate) • Writing and/or updating SQL and shell scripts to perform required tasks against databases • Applying database patches to servers on a quarterly basis and apply to each database using data patch • Monitoring Oracle DataGuard instances for Prod databases and recreating standby databases if required • Performing cleanups of disk space (ASM and filesystem) • Upgrading databases or creating new databases when requested and implementing schema security/privileges as required • Performing test restores/recovery of Oracle databases using RMAN and/or export/import • Monitoring daily Commvault backups and fixing/rerunning as required • Checking for any database errors and responding to Service Requests and Incidents tickets Good to have skills: Shell Script, Strong SQL queries, cloud environment.
