As we expand into high-value real estate partnerships, strategic investments, and special situations, we are seeking an experienced legal counsel to lead our litigation and compliance strategy under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015. ⸻ Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned legal expert with in-depth knowledge of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015, and a successful track record in handling high-value real estate, infrastructure, and investment contract disputes. This position is critical to safeguarding Ongole Bulls’ commercial interests across group entities and investment vehicles, including joint ventures and real estate-backed SPVs. ⸻ Key Responsibilities ⚖️ Commercial Court Litigation & Legal Strateg y • Advise and lead the legal strategy for initiating or defending suits under the Commercial Courts Act based on thresholds (₹3 crore+). • Vet enforceability of notarized sale agreements, Mo Us, joint development agreements, and investor contracts to evaluate jurisdiction and suit viability . • Draft and file damage suits, injunctions, specific performance claims, interlocutory applications, and transfer petitions in Commercial or High Courts . • Liaise with top legal chambers, external counsel, and senior advocates to represent Ongole Bulls and its partner entities effectively . Real Estate Legal Expertis e • Provide legal due diligence, title verification, and risk assessments for land deals, builder partnerships, and real estate investment mandates . • Handle litigation arising from development delays, fraudulent transactions, breach of NOC terms, or unregistered sale deeds . • Structure real estate deals to ensure litigation preparedness and enforceability under Indian contract and property laws . Contractual Enforcement & Complianc e • Draft and review investment Mo Us, SPV agreements, shareholder contracts, NDAs, and escrow terms with a focus on enforceability . • Monitor milestones and contractual deliverables to trigger legal redress in case of default . • Support cross-functional compliance on stamp duty, valuation, and court fees related to contracts .
