Job Title: Soft Skills Trainer
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Soft Skills Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs aimed at enhancing the soft skills of our employees. The Soft Skills Trainer will work closely with various departments to identify training needs and create customized solutions to address them. Additionally, the candidate will evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure maximum impact.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop comprehensive soft skills training programs tailored to the needs of different departments and levels within the organization.
Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
Collaborate with department heads and HR to identify specific skill gaps and training needs within the organization.
Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and multimedia resources.
Utilize assessment tools and techniques to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other online learning platforms to deploy and manage training courses, track learner progress, and evaluate learning outcomes.
Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to employees to help them develop and enhance their soft skills.
Evaluate the effectiveness of online training programs through data analysis, learner feedback, and performance assessments, and make continuous improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in soft skills training and incorporate relevant advancements into training programs.
Work closely with external training providers and consultants as needed to supplement internal training efforts.
Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and online pedagogical best practices.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage remote learners and create interactive online learning experiences.
Demonstrated expertise in areas such as communication, leadership, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, multimedia editing software, and other online learning technologies.
Act as a mentor and resource for other trainers or facilitators within the organization.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate soft skills training into broader talent development initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelors/Master's degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Experience: (7-12) years of relevant experience.
