We are looking for Assistant manager Purchase

Role Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ø Experience in SCM, Procurement including Global procurement, Production planning, Stores, Warehouse management, BOM.

Ø Knowledge on raw materials, Import & Export

Ø Knowledge on Aerospace (Precision Components Manufacturing - Raw Materials are Aluminium , Titanium, Inconel, Stainless Steel) materials, Availability & Supplier base

Ø Exposure with New product development and speed up to ramp up Production volumes

Ø RFQ's lead time & Cost reduction

Ø Ensure FIFO process

Ø Supplier management strategies for on time, Highest Quality and with low-cost budget

Ø Exposure in Inventory control & Stock Management

Ø Customer satisfaction with 100% OTIF

Ø Outsourcing for cost effectiveness

Ø End to End Warehouse Operation - Inbound and Outbound

Ø Key procurement strategies and contingency plans for commodities

Ø MIS

Ø Shipment strategies (advance planning) to reduce cost and optimized freight

Ø New/innovative strategies and concepts implementation

Qualifications

  • Experience in sourcing suppliers, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation
  • Skills in managing purchase orders and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Knowledge in optimizing purchasing processes for cost-efficiency and timely delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
