Job Description – Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

Reports to: Director of Software Engineering

About OneHubPOS

OneHubPOS is building next-generation restaurant and retail POS systems for the U.S. market. Our platform integrates POS, kiosks, KDS, payments, and digital signage to deliver seamless customer experiences. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to play a critical role in scaling our cloud platform, driving DevOps automation, and shaping our modern front-end stack.


Key Responsibilities

● Cloud Architecture & Development

○ Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud services on AWS/GCP/Azure.

○ Implement microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures to support POS and IoT-like workloads.

○ Optimize cloud costs, performance monitoring, and fault tolerance.

● DevOps & CI/CD

○ Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform, Helm, or equivalent tools.

○ Lead CI/CD pipeline design and implementation for faster, reliable releases.

○ Improve observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

● Frontend Engineering

○ Build and optimize responsive, performant web front-ends using , TypeScript, Tailwind, and modern tooling.

○ Collaborate with design/product to deliver intuitive UIs for management consoles, dashboards, and reporting tools.

● Collaboration & Leadership

○ Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices across cloud, DevOps, and frontend.

○ Partner with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality, on-time releases.

○ Evaluate new technologies and frameworks to keep OneHubPOS ahead of the curve.


Qualifications

● 6–10 years of software engineering experience, with strong exposure to cloud, DevOps, and frontend.

● Proven expertise in AWS/GCP/Azure, microservices, serverless, containers (Docker, Kubernetes).

● Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, , Python, or Go.

● Hands-on experience with or similar modern frontend frameworks.

● Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code.

● Solid grasp of cloud security, scalability, and distributed systems design.

● Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills.


Nice to Have

● Experience in payment systems, POS, or retail technology.

● Knowledge of edge computing or Android/Linux device management.

● Familiarity with AI/ML integrations into cloud platforms.
