We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President – Decision Sciences

Principal Responsibilities

This role is expected to develop and manage a delivery unit, across firmly established service offerings - Business intelligence and advance visualization, Data Management & Infrastructure and Analysis/Consulting. The role also involves adopting standard practices across the vertical and reduce cost within Global Functions, Global Businesses and Regions by improving efficiencies using standard processes and common toolsets. The role holder needs to manage one or more clients from regions having different time zones, regulatory environment, and maturity of business, data, and systems. There are multiple teams supporting different aspects analytics for the same larger business problems. The job holder needs to drive collaborations and synergies to integrate the analytics solutions for the business. Strong understanding of business domain, its strategic direction, functional goals, and the required technical expertise. Responsible for delivery of high-quality analytical solutions for the existing clients / engagements.  Partner with business stakeholders in formulating key analytical strategies / decision making to achieve a higher value. Continuously review key risks and proactively institute controls in place to address the same. Supports diversity and adapts style and language according to the demands of the situation. Proactively supports change initiatives & innovative analytical thinking & solutions that results into improved business performance. The role holder has end to end own the responsibility for all aspects of data analysis and build knowledge on credit risk and collections and fraud business areas. Requirements Min. 08+ Year of relevant experience. Graduate / Post Graduate degree from reputed university with specialization in numerical discipline. Strong experience on SAS, Python, SQL is mandatory. Exposure to big data and cloud computing is desirable. Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/Retail banking-operations across the credit cycle: acquisitions, portfolio management, collections. Strong background working with large-scale data, data management, data quality, visualization and dashboard design and regulatory and compliance matters. Experience with Agile/iterative process in the context of project tracking and reporting. Exposure to JIRA/Confluence for project management activity Proven ability to work across markets whilst maintaining a global perspective. Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors. Strong people and team management experience
