Job Summary :

The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. The incumbent will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The BI Developer will develop data models, design, and implement ETL processes, and develop reports and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including data models, ETL processes, reports, and dashboards.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.

- Develop and maintain data models that enable efficient querying and analysis of large datasets.

- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI.

- Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy.

- Work with data engineers and database administrators to ensure that data is properly stored and optimized for reporting and analysis.

- Develop and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data dictionaries, technical specifications, and user manuals.

- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in business intelligence and data analytics.

- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure that BI solutions align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

- Experience implementing Modern DW (ELT) using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Spark SQL, Azure Serverless Pool, Azure Dedicated SQL Pool, Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions.

- Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and data modelling.

- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI.

- Experience with data visualization best practices and techniques.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Developing SSRS Power BI Reports, Design and Develop Tabular Cube / Multidimensional Cube.

- Experience working in Agile software development environments.

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.

- Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies is a plus.

- Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning is a plus.
