Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Junior Site Supervisor to join our team in Tiruchirappalli. This full-time position requires a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 years of work experience in a relevant field. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing on-site activities and ensuring project objectives are met efficiently. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in construction site safety practices to ensure compliance with regulations and protect team members (Mandatory skill). Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately to guide project execution and ensure alignment with design specifications (Mandatory skill). Project management skills to plan, execute, and close projects effectively, keeping them on schedule and within budget. Experience with scheduling software to create, update, and maintain project schedules for efficient resource allocation. Strong quality control abilities to monitor work processes and outputs, ensuring they meet industry and client standards. Budget management skills to oversee project finances, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle. Team leadership capabilities to motivate and manage the construction crew, fostering a productive and positive work environment. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve on-site challenges swiftly, maintaining project continuity and progress. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee and guide construction activities on-site to ensure projects are executed according to plans and timelines. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing non-compliance issues promptly. Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align project objectives. Monitor progress and report on project status, addressing any delays or issues that impede project advancement. Conduct quality assurance checks, ensuring all materials and workmanship meet specified standards. Manage site documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports accurately and timely. Resolve conflicts and liaise between site workers and management to maintain harmony and project efficiency. Implement and maintain systems for resource management to optimize the availability and use of materials and labor.
