Class 3–4 Steiner Teacher (0.6 FTE) East Bentleigh Primary School – Steiner StreamGraduates warmly encouraged to apply. East Bentleigh Primary School is seeking a wholehearted Steiner educator to join our growing Steiner stream in 2026. This 0.6 FTE position is for three days per week and forms part of our Class 3–4 teaching team. You will work in a team with an experienced Steiner teacher who already works at East Bentleigh, sharing the care of the children and contributing to the rhythm and life of the classroom. You will lead collaborative planning but will be supported by other Steiner teachers, and you will collaborate closely to bring warmth, steadiness, and imaginative depth to the children’s daily experience. About the Role This role invites a teacher who understands the importance of relationship, reverence, and artistry in learning. Across your three days, you will help carry the morning circle, support Main Lesson work, guide practice sessions, and contribute to the creative and practical curriculum characteristic of Steiner Class 3–4—farming and building themes, story and mythology, handwriting and grammar, number work, movement, music, and artistic practice. You will offer consistency, calm, and a loving authority to the children in your care, supporting the steady, predictable rhythm that helps Class 3–4 children feel secure as they meet new developmental challenges.
