Role - SAP FICO Managing Consultant Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and talented FICO Lead Consultant with a proven track record in SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and AMS support. As a FICO Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet our client’s business needs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, deep technical expertise in SAP FICO, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams. You should have good experience of working in Onsite/Offshore Delivery model.
SAP Skills:
 Bachelor's degree or Master’s in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, MBA (Finance or equivalent) or a related field. 10+ years of hands-on experience as a FICO Lead Consultant in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments. Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules. Proven experience leading full-cycle SAP FICO implementation projects, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support. Expert understanding of Interfaces, IDocs, eDocument. Should be able to read and debug ABAP program. Good understanding of SAP PS (Project System), FI-MM and FI-SD integration. Good understanding of COPA. Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices. SAP certification(s) in FICO modules is highly desirable. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus. Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end SAP FICO Support projects, including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, configuring systems, and overseeing testing and deployment. Provide expert guidance and support for SAP FICO module enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems. Serves as the primary point of contact for all FICO-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolution. Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions to empower end-users and support teams. Responsible for timely project deliverables of a team of 10+ FICO consultants. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend SAP FICO solutions. Stay current with SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to recommend innovative solutions. Business Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate with others clearly and concisely. Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Understanding of business processes for focus area or module. Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks. Strong analytical skills. Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify touch points between modules. Consulting Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Aptitude for working in a team environment; problem-solving skills, creative thinking, communicating clearly and empathetically, strong time management, and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff. Ability to explain ideas and concepts to other project team members and to client personnel. Has a solid foundation for consulting “soft” skills necessary for client engagements. Ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mentor a team of FICO consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Lead a team of FICO consultants, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback. Seeks ways to increase the project team effectiveness. Works well as a member of a team. Seeks ways to increase their level of contribution and therefore team effectiveness. General Skills:
