Front end Mobile Architect

About the Job -As a Frontend Architect, you will provide leadership, vision, and hands-on contribution to engineering organisation. You’ll lead a team of rockstar engineers working hard to meet aggressive timelines, while developing a long-term vision for the organisation. You’ll own the technology infrastructure, architecture, and software development lifecycle, and be lead voice on technology decisions in web and mobile products.


Responsibilities

● This is a hands-on, in-the-code role

● Build web and app architecture and systems

● Lead and articulate strategic decisions regarding technology and infrastructure

● Own and Lead user experience, system design and architecture for platform

● Lead, mentor a team of senior software engineers

● Nurture and grow the team, culture, and SDLC, defining the long-term vision for the products you lead.

● Collaborate on our product roadmap and lead the UX, execution of projects and features


Required Skills

● 10+ years of software engineering experience in building B2C mobile apps (iOS and Android) and web products.

● Hands on experience in architecting large scale frontend applications.

● Have detailed hands-on experience of cutting edge web technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript), Application Servers, Web Applications.

● Experience developing UI with JavaScript development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, ReactNative, Vue, Bootstrap, etc)

● Have in-depth understanding of application performance and scalability. Experience working on open-source projects, building frameworks, ui platforms at scale.

● Deep understanding of Web and Information Security concepts and concerns, such as CORS, CSP, CSRF, XSS, etc.

● An expert in debugging and profiling Browsers and Node.js, and understand ways to decrease page load speed and runtime slowdowns

● IOS/Android app development experience is a huge Plus
