Job Description :

  • Valiance is a global AI & Data analytics firm helping clients build cutting-edge technology solutions for digital transformation. We work with some of the marquee brands across India, US and APAC to build transformative solutions for Credit Risk, Fraud, Predictive Maintenance, Quality Inspection, Data lake, IOT analytics etc.
  • Our team comprises 100+ professionals across Machine Learning, Data Engineering & Cloud expertise.
  • We are looking to hire a Software Engineer to help our customers operationalize data analytics and ML algorithms. You will be working closely with data science & data engineering teams to transform their code for the production environment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Write high-performing, scalable code following best practices.
  • Improve the existing code base for performance, security, best practices.
  • Participate in the full SDLC process using Agile methodology including requirement gathering, analysis and estimation, iterative planning, development and unit testing, and release/deployment.
  • Troubleshoot code failures and ensure system recovery at the earliest.
  • Ensure proper documentation of the application code
  • Work with data science and data engineering teams to integrate their code with various downstream applications

Technical Skills :

  • 3-6 years of experience with an ownership and learning mindset.
  • Strong experience with Python as a backend language.
  • Experience in designing, developing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting RESTful APIs, web services
  • Expert in consuming open API's using Python
  • Experience in Postgresql, MYSQL, MongoDB
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience working in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, transportation domain (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Experience with deployment on EC2 Instances or Kubernetes

Personal Skills :

  • Excellent communication skills, both written & oral.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly, adjust to the changing needs of the project.
  • You are highly enthusiastic about your work
  • Ability to multi-task, manage high-pressure release scenarios occasionally.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
