This position is responsible for providing on-site repairs and maintenance for park infrastructure, playgrounds, and facilities. Long-term career potential and development opportunities. Key Responsibilities Proactively provide on-site repairs and maintenance for park infrastructure, playgrounds, and facilities. Regularly inspect and audit park infrastructure, playgrounds, and facilities. Compile material lists and obtain quotes for necessary repairs and replacements. Maintain a professional presentation while working in public parks and around park users. Conduct general trade work along with both preventative and proactive maintenance across park facilities. Undertake proactive maintenance tasks, including painting and staining programs, fence and bollard repairs, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Perform material top-ups in paths, BMX tracks, and playground soft fall areas. Utilize a wide range of hand tools and machines necessary for park maintenance and infrastructure. Adhere to established safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe park environment. About You To join our team, ideally, you will have a trade background and be mechanically minded with a passion for providing quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others.
