Key Responsibilities Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, Java Script Implement new features, sections, and templates based on brand requirements Integrate third-party apps and create custom Shopify apps when needed Optimize store performance, speed, SEO, and conversions Troubleshoot and fix theme, UI, and functionality issues Collaborate with designers and marketers to bring concepts to life Implement responsive designs across devices Maintain code quality, documentation, and version control Stay updated with Shopify releases, updates, and industry best practices Requirements Proven experience as a Shopify Developer Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, theme customization, and Shopify APIs Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, j Query Experience with Shopify apps, integrations, and payment gateways Familiarity with Git or other version control tools Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Understanding of e Commerce flows and UI/UX principles Preferred Skills: Experience with Shopify Plus Knowledge of React/Vue (for headless Shopify setups) Experience with theme builders (Page Fly, Shogun, Gem Pages) Basic knowledge of SEO for e Commerce Ability to work with Figma/Adobe XD for design implementation
