Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Data Science to join our dynamic team remotely. This senior-level position, based in Delhi, requires a candidate with 12 to 15 years of experience. The role involves leading data science initiatives and driving innovation within the company and for our clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate expert proficiency in deep learning and development of large language models. Qualifications and Skills Experience in deep learning with a proven track record (Mandatory skill). Expertise in LLMs, with a deep understanding of their architecture and application (Mandatory skill). Proven research skills with a strong background in theoretical and applied methodologies (Mandatory skill). Proficiency in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and their implementation in complex projects. Extensive experience in data science, including knowledge of modern approaches and frameworks. Strong proficiency in TensorFlow and PyTorch for developing and deploying scalable models. Ability to strategically manage and lead a team to achieve data-driven goals and innovative solutions. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Roles and Responsibilities Lead the data science department, driving strategic initiatives and aligning with the company's business goals. Develop and enhance AI models using deep learning techniques and large language models. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate data-based innovations into products and services. Implement best practices and advancements in data science to improve decision-making procedures. Ensure proper utilization of data science tools and platforms to generate business insights and enhance performance. Oversee research activities to explore new methodologies and improve existing strategies in data science. Mentor and nurture a team of data scientists, encouraging professional growth and knowledge sharing. Communicate complex data concepts in clear terms to non-technical stakeholders and executive management.
