Technology Strategy Analyst

What you’ll be doing This is a newly created role to support the Manager, Technology Strategy in developing, implementing, and monitoring technology and commercial strategies for our Information Technology division. This position requires a blend of analytical capability, commercial acumen, and technology understanding to drive value, optimize costs, and support strategic decision-making across the technology portfolio. Further responsibilities include:  Support the development of technology and commercial strategies by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments Analyse technology investment opportunities and provide recommendations based on cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and strategic alignment Assist in the preparation of business cases, investment proposals, and strategic planning documents Contribute to technology road-map development by providing commercial and financial insights Support vendor and contract management activities, including relationship management and performance monitoring Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements Assist in managing procurement strategies & activities (alongside our highly experienced Procurement function) Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to technology investments, vendor performance, and strategic objectives Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on commercial and strategic matters Collaborate with technology teams, finance, procurement, and business units to gather requirements and insights Participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure commercial considerations are integrated into technology initiatives You’ll be great in this role if you have… Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or IT related field At least 3-5 years’ of experience in management consulting, technology strategy or commercial analysis roles Experience in technology sector or supporting technology functions Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to interpret complex data Understanding of commercial and contract management principles Experience with strategy creation  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously We’re committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to): Discounted flights for you and your loved ones (including $1000 worth of travel credits per year) A flexible, hybrid work style.
