Job Description
Upskills provides expert financial software consulting for investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe region. With a strong, Front to Back expertise of the cash and derivatives markets, coupled to an in-deep knowledge of financial markets technologies, we provide smart, business-wise and efficient solutions.

We are seeking a Murex Back Office Consultant (Operations) to be based in Paris to work in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client’s global system implementations, with responsibilities:

•  Contribution to customer show sessions and interaction
•  Analyze and follow-up project cases and defect analysis
•  Write & execute test scenarios during in test campaigns
•  Analyze & reconcile data (source & target) and fix discrepancies 
•  Support the client during the validation phase (SIT, UAT)
•  Liaise with and report to the stream lead, the Delivery Pool Manager, and the PM
•  Provide expertise and support to stream Member juniors
•  Act autonomously on project activities, with limited supervision
•  Participate in clients support tasks under the responsibility of a support coordinator.
•  Coordinate BAU and project support (case management) of one stream:
Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree, preferably from Finance, Financial Engineering or Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience on workflow configuration / development in Murex to manage trade validation, confirmation and events. Including trade flows, confirmation generation, payment flows

  • Familiar with SQL and XML

  • Strong knowledge and functional experience on various asset classes. E.g. FX MM, IRD, EQD

  • Experience writing functional and business specifications with the ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities. 

  • A strong proven track record of client servicing. Understand customer needs and build effective relationships.

  • Strong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.

  • Able to work onsite in Paris, France
