Roles and Responsibility

The Hybris Architect will be responsible for the Build andRun engineering to the Ecommerce (SAP Hybris) portfolio in our Apparel and HardGood division of companies, leading the Ecommerce Support organization,partnering with vendor partners. He / She has the qualification and businessacumen typically to manage multiple small to large scale, varying risk,projects, programs and engagements including multiple business units andmultiple service partners/vendors/Agencies.

Roles And Responsibilities

Lead e-commerce/Digital initiatives ofvarying size/complexity, working cross-functionally to achieve businessresults, on-time and with quality. Estimating tasks and deciding whichuser stories can be completed in each sprint. Creating and defining tasks in JIRAwith sufficient detail for the developer to be able to execute the task –including estimates for hours and deadlines. Act as the Support lead to the Hybrise-commerce sites, leading the offshore vendor partner resources, execute tasksand be seen as an SME as it relates to Hybris ecommerce implementations. Closely collaborate with the Marketing,e-commerce, and Sales teams to align strategies and help prioritize acrossmultiple projects with set deadlines and work with third party serviceproviders that have onsite/offshore teams globally. Demonstrates proven extensive abilities andsuccess with the SAP Hybris commerce platform and SAP Product Suite in leadingor assisting with technical and architectural development efforts. Designing, building, testing and deploying thehybris solution components required for successful hybris solutions, includingintegration with SAP and non-SAP systems. Identifying and addressing Marketing/eCommercebusiness team’s needs by: Building and maintaining relationships Communicating value propositions Managing resource requirements, project workflowand overall execution of deliverables. Assess current processes and redesignsystems/process to drive improvement and implement changes to catalog management,customer interface design, etc. Coordinate reporting, calendars, launchplans, and customer service SOPs in accordance with best in industry practices. Manage all of site content, sitemerchandising, customer shopping experience, and conversion rate optimizationtactics. Implementation of business processes andprocess improvements for interface maintenance and production support. Partnering with Digital & Enterprisearchitects and infrastructure & operations teams to deliver technicalinnovations in support of emerging/evolving business strategic needs.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills &Abilities)

Ability to lead, enforce, and help definedevelopment standards. Solid understanding of Object-Orientedconcepts and the MVC paradigm. Superior problem-solving skills, creativethinking, critical thinking. Strong communication skills – verbal andwritten (documentation, code, email, etc.) Superior relationship building andinterpersonal skills. Self-starter, ability to work independentlywith minimal supervision, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to learn and apply new skillsquickly. Proven track records of the meeting andexceeding goals. Proficient in leading & supervisingapplication development teams and leading effective scrum meetings, releaseplanning & management and sprint planning. Experienced with automated unit testingframeworks (JUnit, Spock, Selenium) Experience with Unix/Linux environments. Previous experience with a professionalconsulting organization preferred. Broad and in-depth knowledge oftechnical/analytical models and solutions. Excellent understanding of SAP Hybrissolutions and business acumen Expertise in Hybris technical landscape, configuration,and integration to third party systems such as List-trak, Crowd twist,Paymetric, Fit Analytics and so on Experience in one or more of the followingareas, with demonstrated progression of responsibilities: Application delivery (preferablyeCommerce/web/Mobile app/POS/Omni-Channel Systems) Exceptional leadership, organizational andinterpersonal skills, ability to work with people from different disciplines,competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior managementteams Expert project management skills, includingability to use influence, persuasion, and mediation to resolve issues and driveconsensus.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marketing,Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 10 years’ experience showing progressiveresponsibilities and scope of work. Minimum 7 years of complex project managementexperience. Minimum 3 years of Experience in ecommerce,Apparel or Consumer goods industry Experience on SAP C4/HANA (Commerce Cloud)and Integration experience with S4 HANA leveraging DataHub, RFC, JAVA, SpringFramework and Rest APIs. Extensive experience managing and sourcing3rd party service providers, partners, and consultants. Ability to think critically, thoroughly,and analytically when resolving technically complex problems. Excellent interpersonal, written, andverbal communications skills SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Java, Spring Core & Spring MVC Experience working with Database (such asHANA, MySQL, SQL Server and/or Oracle) JUnit framework and/or other AutomatedTesting Frameworks HTML5, CSS3, LESS/SASS JavaScript & jQuery Angular, React, Vue, SPA/PWA Web Services: REST, SOAP Web Developer Tools (e.g., Chrome, Firebugetc.) Responsive Design OO A&D, UML & Design Patterns XML, XSD Jenkins set up and configuration.
