Job Description
In this role, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience building and maintaining Pega applications under the guidance of a dedicated Senior Pega consultant. We believe soft skills are essential That's why we'll work with you to develop your presentation, negotiation, and self-awareness skills, helping you become a more confident individual and effective team member. This structured training program will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to become a successful Pega System Architect.

Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside senior Pega architects and consultants to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient applications.
  • Gain practical experience in the Pega platform, designing and developing Pega flows, processes, and user interfaces.
  • Learn how to leverage Pega functionalities like decision rules, data models, and integrations to build robust applications.
  • Participate in testing and debugging Pega applications, ensuring their functionality as intended.
  • Utilise version control systems to track the deployment of Pega applications
  • Actively learn and stay updated on the latest Pega features and best practices through the consultant's guidance and self-directed learning initiatives.
  • Contribute to team discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions as you progress through your training journey.

Requirements Qualifications:
  • You must be a British citizen.
  • Strong academic background in computer science or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript preferred).
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for teamwork and learning from senior developers.
  • A passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, specifically Pega.

Additional Skills:
  • Domain experience in financial services and/or insurance would be beneficial.
  • Prior Pega certification (CSSA or CSA) is not required. However, a willingness to pursue Pega certifications during your training program is highly regarded.
