The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:  Roles & Responsibilities: Analyse, understand and fine tune the existing design for performance and functional safety requirements. Prepare the architecture and implement/port the middleware components from one generation of MCU to next generation of the MCU and verify on simulator/target Lead a team of middleware developers working on Linux based IVI/ADAS System. Ensure that all the platform, IVI/ADAS middleware components adhere to ASIL requirements, including rigorous safety analyses, risk assessments, and compliance with ISO 26262 or relevant safety standards. Guide the team to implement, test and integrate requirements. Implement and oversee safety-critical testing to validate compliance. Set technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for the team. Promote and enforce best practices for safety-critical software development and integration. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities, flexible with work timings, attend and contribute to technical discussions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system architects, safety experts and QA, to ensure ASIL compliance and address safety-related issues specific to IVI/ADAS systems. Review code, design, and other deliverables to ensure quality. Capture key work parameters (Productivity & Schedule) and prepare report after phase completion Required Skills (Technical Competency):   In-depth knowledge of middleware technologies and protocols commonly used in Linux-based IVI/ADAS systems, such as D-Bus, socket programming, and data serialization, with a strong focus on functional safety and automotive communication protocols. Proficiency in Linux Systemd services, System programming. Understanding of functional safety requirements for software development and how they apply to middleware components. Understanding of the specific middleware tools, platforms, and software used in Linux-based IVI/ADAS systems, including open-source middleware solutions tailored for automotive applications. Frameworks like GStreamer, OpenGL, Radar stacks, etc. Familiarity in using acceleration mechanisms like GPU, DSP Expertise in integrating middleware components with various IVI system elements on the Linux platform, such as user interfaces, multimedia applications, navigation systems, vehicle control functions, etc. Expertise in designing/developing components for product level operations like firmware upgrade, recovery, etc. Proficiency in Embedded Linux, C/C++, Python and Shell scripting with a strong understanding of MISRA coding standard. Experience with Linux working environment for ARM processor using GNU toolchain, Debug using GDB, Optimization using GNU tools, Build using Yocto. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Good communication skills and the ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders
