Senior Data Science Specialist

We are currently seeking a Senior Data Science Specialist (DES) to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN). Location Bangalore and Chennai ( Hybrid ) Skills and Abilities: • Strong expertise in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, machine learning and advanced inferential and analytics techniques. • Proficiency in optimization methods such as linear programming, integer programming, and metaheuristics (e.g., genetic algorithms, simulated annealing).  • Advanced programming skills in Python and R, with experience in libraries like StatsModels, SciPy, PuLP or Pyomo for optimization. • Strong SQL skills for querying and managing structured and unstructured data. • Familiarity with big data platforms such as Databricks and distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark. • Knowledge of data visualization tools and methods to present complex findings effectively to diverse audiences. • Proficiency in designing and conducting controlled experiments (e.g., A/B testing) and interpreting their results. • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address technical challenges effectively. • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to build strategic relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners. • Strong critical thinking skills to generate innovative solutions and improve business processes. • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Detail oriented with the ability to assist with executing highly complex or specialized projects.   About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
