Job Title: Mortgage Operations Manager Reporting To: Head of Operations Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-Time Purpose The Mortgage Operations Manager contributes to the overall success of the Retail Lending business by ensuring the effective execution of business plans, strategic initiatives, and operational goals. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Business Management Develop, manage, and execute the multi-year business strategy for the Home Loans product line. Own the annual business plan; implement initiatives to achieve performance targets and business growth. Monitor and report on performance, identifying areas for improvement and innovation. Lead the design and implementation of projects and process enhancements to achieve business objectives. Take end-to-end ownership of product-line P&L, managing key drivers to deliver results. Leadership & People Management Lead and manage a team of 50+ professionals to deliver high-quality service and operational efficiency. Foster an inclusive, performance-driven culture that promotes engagement and accountability. Support professional growth through coaching, feedback, and succession planning. Qualifications & Experience Graduate Degree or higher (MBA preferred). Minimum 7 years of experience in BFSI or the servicing industry. Proven experience managing large teams (50+ staff). Strong knowledge of Retail Banking products and mortgage operations. Hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement techniques. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong leadership with the ability to motivate teams for high performance.
