Role & responsibilities

  • Managing a team of 6-7 people.
  • Managing accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting: ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Managing monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end transactions: Preparing financial statements and other reporting.
  • Ensuring timely statutory compliances including direct tax compliances, indirect tax compliances, payroll related compliances, etc.
  • Preparing and analysing various reports like AP/AR ageing, budget vs actuals and analysing the reasons for the variances.
  • Preparing schedules required for statutory audit.
  • Understanding the training needs of the team and arranging training for the team.
  • Co-ordination with various stakeholders for timely query resolution
  • Setting up procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Regular interaction with customers' senior management team to discuss financial statements and insights.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience in ZOHO Books and SAP HANA.
