Introductionto Role:

Join the Global ClinicalSolutions (GCS) team at AstraZeneca where we drive the delivery ofservices and technology for our internal and external stakeholders.As a Specialist you will ensure the population and availability ofcomplete highquality data from clinical operationsprocesses/procedures and systems. You will also deliver trainingsrelated to system procedures and/or processes and participate inthe coordination of the life cycle management of processes andsystems/tools. This role is an opportunity to contribute tofunctional and regional initiatives and be part of improvementprojects.

Accountabilities:

Asa GCS Specialist you will deliver GCS services set up and maintainsystems/tools and data associated with projects services andtechnology in partnership with Study Teams and external partners.You will support life cycle management and business continuity foroperational processes/procedures systems/tools standards proceduraldocumentation and training materials. You will also performanalyses of processes and tools to define business usage andidentify opportunities to improve efficiency/effectiveness ofsystems/methods/processes.

EssentialSkills/Experience:

Bachelorsdegree or other equal education

Provenorganizational and analytical skills

Provenability to multitask time management and taskorientedperformance

Previous administrativetraining/experience

Computerproficiency

Can create and maintain systems forefficiency for both self and others

Excellentknowledge of spoken and written English

Strongcommunication skills

Exhibit of AZ Values andBehaviours

DesirableSkills

University degree inbiological science or health care related field

A good understanding of the clinical studyprocess

Programming experience or programmingaptitude

Work experience in the pharmaceuticalindustry or in the environment of clinical study delivery/clinicaldevelopment processes

Knowledge ofpharmaceutical drug development and clinical study processes andassociated government regulations ICH GCP

Shownwillingness and ability to train others on study support processesand procedures

Demonstrate the ability toproactively identify risks and issues as well as possiblesolutions

GxP trained
