Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Android applications using
Kotlin
with a focus on performanceand usability.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliverseamless mobile experiences.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.Ensure the application meets high-quality standards through testing and debugging.Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development.Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into the applications.Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.2+ years
of professional experience in
Android development .Proficiency in
Kotlin
and Android SDK.Strong understanding of modern Android architecture components (e.g., ViewModel,LiveData, Jetpack).Experience with UI/UX design principles and creating intuitive user interfaces.Familiarity with third-party libraries, APIs, and tools like Retrofit, Glide, etc.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Experience with version control systems like
Git .Knowledge of app performance optimisation and memory management techniques.Exposure to agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).
Good to Have:Experience working on
logistics or supply chain management solutions .Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services (e.g., Firebase).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android.Understanding of reactive programming (RxJava or Coroutines).
