About Avire :

- Avire delivers an extensive range of safety and communication products predominantly for the elevator industry including light curtains, emergency telephones, connectivity solutions and displays.

- Avire has manufacturing and R&D facilities in the UK, Singapore, China, America and the Czech Republic, and sales offices in 15 locations worldwide with Headquarters in Maidenhead, England.

- Position Objective (The purpose of role in current business/market scenario)

- As a business we support, expand and require someone with a flair for excellent customer service and a strong desire to make a difference.

- The job consists of creating, managing and supporting our SQL and Power BI platform to ensure that reporting jobs are successfully run, and analytics data aligns to timeliness, completeness of requirements.

Responsibilities/ KRAs :

- Understand and translate business use cases and/or requirements into data models, data integration routines and analytics reports.

- Manage the database aspects of the reporting and analytics

- Platform(s) to ensure that reporting jobs are successfully run, and

- Analytics data aligns to timeliness, completeness of requirements.

- Design, implement and maintain database objects and database security.

- Build, test and deploy highly interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to highlight business metrics, enable self-service and provide secure and efficient access to data.

- Troubleshoot and problem solve to fix reporting issues.

- Continuously improve and enhance the performance, capabilities, and functional coverage of dashboards and reports.

Academic qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, data science, or computer science.

- A minimum of 3 years post-qualification SQL development experience.

- Familiarity and working knowledge of relational databases

- Experience (exposure)

- Familiar with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

- ETL techniques.
