Position overview:

As part of the Data Governance and Business intelligence Team, the Data Governance and Business Intelligence Analystis responsible for ensuring theaccuracy of data with Optimas. Additionally, the analyst supports ad-hoc data/analytics requests as well as the creation and maintenance of Tableau dashboards.Main responsibilities:TheData Governance and business intelligence Analystwill:Communicate effectively with all employees and stakeholdersSet up new and improvebusiness processes and standards to ensure accuracy of data while maintaining/improving lead-timesReview data submitted for accuracy and applicability and take action wherever neededAccurately enter approved data elements into the various Optimas data systemsIdentifying ways to improve the availability and accuracy of data needed for analysisaround the Optimas businessCarry out necessary follow-ups to ensure closure of requestsEnsure requests are completed on time and accuratelyIdentifying red flags within data or processes and escalate where requiredSupport on Ad-Hoc data requestsUnderstand and communicate technical concept to both technical and non-technical audiencesCreation of SQL script to seek out poor data and to work with stakeholders to correct this informationUse BI software to develop workbooks with visualisations that drive actionKey Performance Indicators:

•Understand company policy and guidelines to validate submitted requests

•Strick adherence to completion timelines

•Accurate entry results

•Pro-active approach to resolving issues
