Product Manager - Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) App
Experience - 10 to 15 years
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) App project from conception to successful market launch.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in D2C projects, driving product excellence, conducting thorough market research, and developing strategies to minimize Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
About the role:
This is a leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
As a Product Manager for our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) App project, you will be responsible for taking an idea and building the product from the ground up, overseeing its development, and rolling it out to consumers with a focus on minimizing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
This role is an individual contributor role, emphasizing hands-on involvement and strategic decision-making without direct reports.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about driving product innovation and impact, rather than being title-focused or seeking large teams to manage.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy:
● Develop and execute the product strategy for the D2C App, aligning with company goals and market trends in the consumer space.
● Conduct comprehensive market research, including Total Addressable Market (TAM) analysis, to identify target audience, competitors, and opportunities for differentiation.
GTM Planning:
● Lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) planning process, defining key milestones, timelines, and success metrics for the D2C App launch.
● Develop pricing strategies, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement plans for successful market entry.
Customer Acquisition Optimization:
● Develop and implement strategies to minimize Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) while maximizing customer acquisition and retention.
● Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to optimize marketing campaigns, user acquisition channels, and conversion rates.
Product Development and Launch:
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure timely and successful product development and launch.
● Define product features, prioritize roadmap initiatives, and oversee product development cycles from concept to release.
User Experience (UX) and Feedback:
● Champion the user experience (UX) of the D2C App, working closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.
● Gather user feedback, conduct usability testing, and iterate on product features to continuously improve user satisfaction and engagement.
Analytics and Performance Monitoring:
● Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success, user engagement, and business impact.
● Monitor app performance, analyze data insights, and iterate on product strategies based on data-driven decisions.
Must-have Skills:
● Proven experience as a Product Manager in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) projects, preferably in consumer technology or e-commerce industries.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct market research, and make data-driven decisions.
● Experience developing and executing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, including pricing, positioning, and sales enablement.
● Proficiency in optimizing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and driving customer acquisition and retention strategies.
● Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
● Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
